This page is our summary of what CNX Resources publishes, in our own words. It is not CNX Resources’ requirement list and it can be out of date. PrequalReady is not affiliated with CNX Resources, ISN or any other network or operator.
1. Which network CNX uses
ISN. CNX’s Training page says everyone employed on a CNX site must complete training videos relevant to their role before getting to work, and tells contractors to contact their ISN account manager because CNX has transitioned to ISN for contractor management. The page writes “ISN” and does not spell out ISNetworld. ISN Software Corporation runs ISNetworld (see the ISN User Agreement page), so if your CNX account is an ISNetworld subscription, the ISN dates below apply to it.
2. What the sources say contractors must do
- Complete the training for your role. The page says everyone employed on a CNX site completes the training videos for their role before working. The Operations Training page under Workplace Health and Safety says the same.
- Talk to your ISN account manager. CNX says it has moved contractor management to ISN, so contractor questions go to your ISN account manager. Training questions go to CNX operations training, through the contact form on the page (name, organization, address and email are required).
- An older Veriforce guide. CNX’s own site also holds a Veriforce WorkerPass quick start guide (file dated October 31, 2024). It says CNX was using Veriforce WorkerPass to track completed hazard training and, where it applies, PSM training, and to grant site access, and that employees must be assigned to the contractor’s company in WorkerPass. We found no page on cnx.com that links to it, and the Training page says CNX has since moved contractor management to ISN, so ask CNX which system applies to you.
- What the pages do not say. They give no document list, no minimum grade and no training deadline.
3. The yearly dates that apply
If your CNX account is an ISNetworld subscription, these dates apply to it, whichever hiring client asked for it. The ISNetworld renewal checklist explains each one and shows its source.
- Every year, on or before the anniversary of your ISN activation date: pay the annual fee to renew your ISNetworld subscription (ISN User Agreement).
- February 1, until April 30: post the OSHA 300A summary, if you must keep OSHA injury and illness records (OSHA 29 CFR 1904.32).
- March 2: submit the 300A to OSHA online, if your establishment is covered (OSHA 29 CFR 1904.41).
- Before you start work: the training videos for each person’s role.
4. Confirm with CNX Resources
Requirements change, and the pages we read show no date. Before you rely on any item here, confirm it with CNX and with your ISN account manager.

6. Keep it in one workspace
PrequalReady is a workspace that keeps each hiring client’s requirements, your documents and every expiry date in one place, and emails reminders before your dates. It does not log in to ISNetworld, Avetta or Veriforce for you, and it does not judge whether your documents are acceptable. It is free during early access. Keeping many contractors qualified?
