These pages summarize what each operator publishes, in our own words. They are not the operators’ requirement lists and they can be out of date. PrequalReady is not affiliated with any operator, with ISNetworld, Avetta or Veriforce.
1. The operators
Each operator below is listed with the network its own public pages name, or none. Open its page for what it says contractors must do.
| Operator | Network its own site names | What its page says |
|---|---|---|
| Chord Energy | ISNetworld | Contractors and service providers need an ISN account before the master service agreement process starts, then a profile, a safety questionnaire, a program review, insurance and an orientation. |
| CNX Resources | ISN (not spelled out on its page) | Says it has moved contractor management to ISN. Everyone on a CNX site completes training for their role before work. |
| ConocoPhillips | ISNetworld, in its Lower 48 HSE exhibit | Supplier pages name no network. The exhibit sets minimum HSE rules and names ISNetworld for monthly injury data when it requires a subscription. |
| Continental Resources | ISNetworld | Uses ISNetworld as its contractor management platform for selection, onboarding, monitoring and periodic reviews. |
| Coterra Energy | ISNetworld | Its policy and EHS handbook require ISN membership: documentation, approved EHS programs, training records and insurance. Merged with Devon on May 7, 2026. |
| Devon Energy | ISNetworld | Does not pre-qualify contractors. The ones it selects for field work must subscribe to ISNetworld. Lists its insurance minimums and its own protocols. |
| Energy Transfer | Veriforce, for orientation | Contractor EHS manual: an online orientation through Veriforce or ISTC every 12 months, plus training records, audits and EHS procedures. |
| Entergy | Avetta | Suppliers that provide on-site services register in Avetta, by invitation. Minimums for EMR, TRIR and DART, no fatalities, and an annual certificate of insurance. |
| EQT | ISNetworld | Uses ISNetworld to qualify contractors before they start work, and requires a contractor safety orientation each year or when its safe work rules change. |
| Expand Energy | None named | An onboarding evaluation, a contractor management standard, annual orientation, SafeLand, SafeGulf or RigPass, and drug and alcohol rules. |
| Kinder Morgan | ISNetworld | Each contract company must subscribe and keep the subscription to be considered. Questionnaire, program review, insurance, DOT records, ID badge and KM Core training. |
| NiSource | ISNetworld | Contractors selected for medium or high-risk work join ISN before work and pass its grading before award. Monthly Site Tracker reports, written programs and OQ plans. |
| Occidental (Oxy), U.S. offshore | ISNetworld | Seven offshore training qualifications completed in ISNetworld, prescription medication disclosure and stop work authority. |
| Ovintiv | ISNetworld | Suppliers that provide on-site services subscribe and keep an acceptable grade; PASS is the minimum. Rules on written programs, orientation and drug testing. |
| PG&E | ISNetworld | Medium and high-risk contractors, sole proprietors included, prequalify in ISN and keep an A or B grade; 30 days to fix a lower grade. Safety plans, drug and alcohol, training. |
| Phillips 66 | ISNetworld, on its supplier diversity site | Lists an outstanding ISNetworld safety rating among four supplier criteria, with good financial standing and core competency. |
| SM Energy | ISNetworld | Contractors submit safety and training programs, performance data and insurance to ISN, are graded and are audited. |
| Southern Company | Avetta, for some of its companies | Uses Avetta for contractor prequalification at some entities; construction safety plans go through Avetta. Drug screens every 12 months for plant access. |
| Spire | ISNetworld | Elevated-risk contractors may need ISN and a C grade or better. Insurance tracked through myCOI; Missouri ISRS bidders have their own limits and OQ rules. |
| Williams | Veriforce | Contractors register with Veriforce Compliance Pro, report hours every month, and meet drug and alcohol and DOT rules. |
2. How these pages are written
We list an operator only when its own public page, or a document that page links to, names the network it uses or sets out concrete requirements for contractors. Each page then says what the operator publishes, in our own words, with the source links and the date we opened them. Where a page shows no date, we say so. Operators change their requirements, so the operator’s own page and your own network account always win.
3. Dates for every contractor
Whichever operator asked for it, a network account has yearly dates of its own: the subscription renewal (ISNetworld, Avetta or Veriforce), the OSHA 300A posting and, where it applies, the March 2 online submission. The ISNetworld renewal checklist lists them with their sources, and the guide for consultants shows how to keep them across many contractors. Network by network: the Avetta annual update, Veriforce for contractors and ISNetworld grades explained; for insurance, certificates of insurance for hiring clients.
4. An operator is missing
If you work for an operator that is not here, write to [email protected] and tell us which one. PrequalReady is a workspace that keeps each hiring client’s requirements, your documents and every expiry date in one place, and emails reminders before your dates. It does not log in to the networks for you. It is free during early access: see the demo, or the consultant view if you keep many contractors qualified.
