This page is our summary of what Williams publishes, in our own words. It is not Williams’ requirement list and it can be out of date. PrequalReady is not affiliated with Williams, Veriforce or any other network or operator.
1. Which network Williams uses
Veriforce. Williams’ Contractor EH&S Management Requirements page lists Veriforce as the place to achieve compliance as a contractor for Williams, and links a Veriforce HUB guide, Getting Started with Veriforce: Williams. The linked requirements document (its cover shows 4/13/2026) names Veriforce Compliance Pro as the Company Compliance Provider for safety verification. Williams’ Supplier Portal page names no prequalification network.
2. What the sources say contractors must do
- Register with the compliance provider. The document says contractors register with the Company Compliance Provider, and that for all work, unless exempt (ask your Williams representative), safety verification is through Veriforce Compliance Pro. The HUB guide adds the steps: activate a Compliance Pro account, connect to Williams as a hiring client, then complete the operating details, the standardized safety questionnaire and any assigned program reviews.
- Report every month. Each month, no later than nine calendar days after it closes, send the compliance provider your hours worked on site and the number of your personnel on site.
- DOT work. Contractors doing DOT-covered functions need approved DOT operator qualifications and an approved drug and alcohol program under 49 CFR Part 40 and Part 199, verified through VeriSource, which Williams names as its approved DOT third-party administrator. The HUB guide says to upload biannual statistical data in January and July in VeriSource.
- Non-DOT safety-sensitive work. Contractors need a non-DOT drug and alcohol program Williams accepts, with a subscription to DISA Global Solutions or TEAM Professional Services.
- Drug and alcohol rules on site. Drugs and alcohol are prohibited on Williams premises and work, and Williams may inspect and run unannounced tests or require the contractor to.
- Safety programs and plans. Submit your EH&S policies and procedures and an organization chart on request, and be ready to write a site-specific EH&S plan. Provide fire-resistant clothing and the right PPE at your expense.
- The rest of the document. It also covers subcontractors, incident investigation and reporting, security of the work, background checks, safety representation on the work site, industrial hygiene, drones, and safety policy, orientation and meetings. Williams’ Contractor Safety Handbook, in English and Spanish, is linked from the page.
3. The yearly dates that apply
These dates apply to a contractor who works through Veriforce for Williams. The ISNetworld renewal checklist explains the network and OSHA dates and shows their sources; it covers ISNetworld, Avetta and Veriforce.
- Every month, by the ninth day: your hours and headcount to the compliance provider (Williams’ requirements document).
- January and July: biannual statistical data in VeriSource, if you do DOT-covered work (Veriforce HUB guide).
- January 1 to December 31: if you hold a Veriforce subscription, it runs on the calendar year; unless your order says otherwise, annual fees are invoiced in advance and due by January 31, and the subscription renews automatically unless either side gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before it ends (Veriforce Contractor Subscription Terms).
- February 1, until April 30: post the OSHA 300A summary, if you must keep OSHA injury and illness records (OSHA 29 CFR 1904.32).
- March 2: submit the 300A to OSHA online, if your establishment is covered (OSHA 29 CFR 1904.41).
4. Confirm with Williams
Requirements change. Williams’ page shows no date, and its document cover shows 4/13/2026 while its file name says 10.1.26. Before you rely on any item here, confirm it with Williams and in your Veriforce account.

6. Keep it in one workspace
PrequalReady is a workspace that keeps each hiring client’s requirements, your documents and every expiry date in one place, and emails reminders before your dates. It does not log in to ISNetworld, Avetta or Veriforce for you, and it does not judge whether your documents are acceptable. It is free during early access. Keeping many contractors qualified?
